TEXT PASSAGE: 히브리서(Hebrews) 8:1-6, [개역개정:ESV]
1.지금 우리가 하는 말의 요점은 이러한 대제사장이 우리에게 있다는 것이라 그는 하늘에서 지극히 크신 이의 보좌 우편에 앉으셨으니 2.성소와 참 장막에서 섬기는 이시라 이 장막은 주께서 세우신 것이요 사람이 세운 것이 아니니라 3.대제사장마다 예물과 제사 드림을 위하여 세운 자니 그러므로 그도 무엇인가 드릴 것이 있어야 할지니라 4.예수께서 만일 땅에 계셨더라면 제사장이 되지 아니하셨을 것이니 이는 율법을 따라 예물을 드리는 제사장이 있음이라 5.그들이 섬기는 것은 하늘에 있는 것의 모형과 그림자라 모세가 장막을 지으려 할 때에 지시하심을 얻음과 같으니 이르시되 삼가 모든 것을 산에서 네게 보이던 본을 따라 지으라 하셨느니라 6.그러나 이제 그는 더 아름다운 직분을 얻으셨으니 그는 더 좋은 약속으로 세우신 더 좋은 언약의 중보자시라. [ESV] 1 Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, 2 a minister in the holy places, in the true tent that the Lord set up, not man. 3 For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; thus it is necessary for this priest also to have something to offer. 4 Now if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, since there are priests who offer gifts according to the law. 5 They serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things. For when Moses was about to erect the tent, he was instructed by God, saying, “See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain.” 6 But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.

히브리서(Hebrews) 7:26-28, 26.이러한 대제사장은 우리에게 합당하니 거룩하고 악이 없고 더러움이 없고 죄인에게서 떠나 계시고 하늘보다 높이 되신 이라 27.그는 저 대제사장들이 먼저 자기 죄를 위하고 다음에 백성의 죄를 위하여 날마다 제사 드리는 것과 같이 할 필요가 없으니 이는 그가 단번에 자기를 드려 이루셨음이라 28.율법은 약점을 가진 사람들을 제사장으로 세웠거니와 율법 후에 하신 맹세의 말씀은 영원히 온전하게 되신 아들을 세우셨느니라. 26 For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. 27 He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself. 28 For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.

1. 그분은 누구신가? - Who He is?
히브리서(Hebrews) 8:1, 1.지금 우리가 하는 말의 요점은 이러한 대제사장이 우리에게 있다는 것이라 그는 하늘에서 지극히 크신 이의 보좌 우편에 앉으셨으니 1 Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,

- Who sits at the right hand of the throne of the Most High in heaven,
- Who has all power in heaven and on earth.
- Who has a name that is preeminent above every name, Who every knee should bow at His name,
/ Who every mouth should acknowledge him.
2. 그분은 무엇을 하시나? - What He does?

히브리서(Hebrews) 7:25, 25.그러므로 자기를 힘입어 하나님께 나아가는 자들을 온전히 구원하실 수 있으니 이는 그가 항상 살아 계셔서 그들을 위하여 간구하심이라. 25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
자기 육신을 찢어시고 하늘 성소로 가셔서 섬기시는 분 - He who tore his own flesh and went into the heavenly sanctuary to serve.
3. 그분은 어떻게 섬기시는가? - How He serves?
히브리서(Hebrews) 8:5-6, 5.그들이 섬기는 것은 하늘에 있는 것의 모형과 그림자라 모세가 장막을 지으려 할 때에 지시하심을 얻음과 같으니 이르시되 삼가 모든 것을 산에서 네게 보이던 본을 따라 지으라 하셨느니라 6.그러나 이제 그는 더 아름다운 직분을 얻으셨으니 그는 더 좋은 약속으로 세우신 더 좋은 언약의 중보자시라. 5 They serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things. - Who serves as the Mediator of a better covenant, obtained by a more beautiful office and established by better promises.
CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 자기 육신을 찢어시고 하늘 성소로 가셔서 우리를 위한 더 좋은 언약의 중보자로 섬기시는 예수 그리스도를 기억하고 그분을 따라 살아 가시기 바랍니다. – I pray that you remember Jesus Christ, who tore up his flesh and went to the heavenly sanctuary to serve as the mediator of a better covenant for us so that you may live your lives according to his example.
