TEXT PASSAGE: 시편(Psalm) 34:1-10, [개역개정:ESV]

1.내가 여호와를 항상 송축함이여 내 입술로 항상 주를 찬양하리이다 2.내 영혼이 여호와를 자랑하리니 곤고한 자들이 이를 듣고 기뻐하리로다 3.나와 함께 여호와를 광대하시다 하며 함께 그의 이름을 높이세 4.내가 여호와께 간구하매 내게 응답하시고 내 모든 두려움에서 나를 건지셨도다 5.그들이 주를 앙망하고 광채를 내었으니 그들의 얼굴은 부끄럽지 아니하리로다 6.이 곤고한 자가 부르짖으매 여호와께서 들으시고 그의 모든 환난에서 구원하셨도다 7.여호와의 천사가 주를 경외하는 자를 둘러 진 치고 그들을 건지시는도다 8.너희는 여호와의 선하심을 맛보아 알지어다 그에게 피하는 자는 복이 있도다 9.너희 성도들아 여호와를 경외하라 그를 경외하는 자에게는 부족함이 없도다 10.젊은 사자는 궁핍하여 주릴지라도 여호와를 찾는 자는 모든 좋은 것에 부족함이 없으리로다. [ESV] (Of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, so that he drove him out, and he went away.) 1 I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! 4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. 5 Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. 8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! 9 Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! 10 The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

INTRODUCTION: [2025 VBS: Magnified!] - Discovering the bigness of God in the smallest of things.

VBS MOTTO: Made to Magnify God!

THEME VERSE: Proclaim the Lord’s greatness with me; Let us exalt His name together. (Psalm 34:3, CSB) Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! (ESV)

Session 1: Magnify God. Bible Story Title: Jesus and the Children (John 1:1-3,12; Mark 10:13‑16) The Big Truth: God created everything there is, and yet He still wants to spend time with me. Zoom In: I am important to God. Main Point: God sees me.

Session 2: Magnify God’s Care. Bible Story Title: Jesus Calmed the Storm (Mark 4:1, 35‑41) The Big Truth: God keeps the whole universe going, and yet He still cares about what’s happening to me. Zoom In: I can trust God to take care of me. Main Point: God cares about me.

Session 3: Magnify God’s Love. Bible Story Title: The Woman at the Well (John 4:1‑42) The Big Truth: God is not OK with sin, and yet He still loves sinners like me. Zoom In: I can be confident God loves me. (Preschool: I can know God loves me.) Main Point: God loves me.

Session 4: Magnify God’s Forgiveness. Bible Story Title: Jesus and Nicodemus (John 3:1‑21; 18‑20; 1 Corinthians 15:6) The Big Truth: Jesus came to save the world, and that includes me. Zoom In: I can trust Jesus as my Savior. (Preschool: I can trust Jesus.) Main Point: God forgives me.

Session 5: Magnify God’s Faithfulness. Bible Story Title: Jesus Taught about Worry (Matthew 6:25‑34) The Big Truth: God is faithful with the big things in my life, and He will be faithful with the small things too. Zoom In: I don’t have to worry because God keeps His promises. Main Point: God keeps His promises.

God is not only the Creator of all things, but He also cares about His creation, right down to the tiniest detail. And the Bible tells us that people are the most significant part of that creation. God created you and knows every detail about you-right down to the design of your fingerprints and the number of hairs on your head. Magnified! We have looked closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnified, or proclaimed, the greatness of God. We have learned that God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We could praise God together. We were made to magnify God!

- 하나님은 모든 것의 창조주일 뿐만 아니라, 그 창조물을 가장 작은 세부 사항까지도 돌보시는 분이십니다. 성경은 사람들이 그 창조물 중 가장 중요한 부분임을 알려줍니다. 하나님은 당신을 창조하셨고, 당신의 지문 디자인부터 머리카락 수까지 모든 세부 사항을 알고 계십니다. 광대하심을 선포하라! 우리는 하나님의 놀라운 세계의 세부 사항을 자세히 살펴보고, 하나님의 위대하심을 확장하거나 선포했습니다. 우리는 하나님이 우리를 창조하셨고, 우리를 돌보시며, 사랑하시며, 용서하시며, 모든 약속을 지키시겠다는 것을 배웠습니다. 우리는 함께 하나님을 찬양할 수 있습니다. 우리는 하나님의 위대하심을 선포하기 위해 창조되었습니다!

MAIN BODY: 여호와의 광대하심을 선포하라!(Proclaim the Lord’s greatness!)

1. 여호와를 자랑하라. - Boast in the Lord.

시편(Psalm) 34:1-3, 1.내가 여호와를 항상 송축함이여 내 입술로 항상 주를 찬양하리이다 2.내 영혼이 여호와를 자랑하리니 곤고한 자들이 이를 듣고 기뻐하리로다 3.나와 함께 여호와를 광대하시다 하며 함께 그의 이름을 높이세! 1 I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! / 3. 2. 여호와를 구하라. - Seek the Lord.

시편(Psalm) 34:4-7, 4.내가 여호와께 간구하매 내게 응답하시고 내 모든 두려움에서 나를 건지셨도다 5.그들이 주를 앙망하고 광채를 내었으니 그들의 얼굴은 부끄럽지 아니하리로다 6.이 곤고한 자가 부르짖으매 여호와께서 들으시고 그의 모든 환난에서 구원하셨도다 7.여호와의 천사가 주를 경외하는 자를 둘러 진 치고 그들을 건지시는도다. 4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. 5 Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

3. 여호와의 선하심을 맛보라. - Taste the goodness of the Lord.

시편(Psalm) 34:8-10, 8.너희는 여호와의 선하심을 맛보아 알지어다 그에게 피하는 자는 복이 있도다 9.너희 성도들아 여호와를 경외하라 그를 경외하는 자에게는 부족함이 없도다 10.젊은 사자는 궁핍하여 주릴지라도 여호와를 찾는 자는 모든 좋은 것에 부족함이 없으리로다. 8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! 9 Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! 10 The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 항상 하나님과 교제 나누고 그분의 영광을 선포하시며 사시기를 바랍니다. – I pray that you always share fellowship with God so that you may live with proclaiming His glory.
