TEXT PASSAGE: 스가랴(Zechariah) 10:1-7, [개역개정:ESV]

1.봄비가 올 때에 여호와 곧 구름을 일게 하시는 여호와께 비를 구하라 무리에게 소낙비를 내려서 밭의 채소를 각 사람에게 주시리라 2.드라빔들은 허탄한 것을 말하며 복술자는 진실하지 않은 것을 보고 거짓 꿈을 말한즉 그 위로가 헛되므로 백성들이 양 같이 유리하며 목자가 없으므로 곤고를 당하나니 3.내가 목자들에게 노를 발하며 내가 숫염소들을 벌하리라 만군의 여호와가 그 무리 곧 유다 족속을 돌보아 그들을 전쟁의 준마와 같게 하리니 4.모퉁잇돌이 그에게서, 말뚝이 그에게서, 싸우는 활이 그에게서, 권세 잡은 자가 다 일제히 그에게서 나와서 5.싸울 때에 용사 같이 거리의 진흙 중에 원수를 밟을 것이라 여호와가 그들과 함께 한즉 그들이 싸워 말 탄 자들을 부끄럽게 하리라 6.내가 유다 족속을 견고하게 하며 요셉 족속을 구원할지라 내가 그들을 긍휼히 여김으로 그들이 돌아오게 하리니 그들은 내가 내버린 일이 없었음 같이 되리라 나는 그들의 하나님 여호와라 내가 그들에게 들으리라 7.에브라임이 용사 같아서 포도주를 마심 같이 마음이 즐거울 것이요 그들의 자손은 보고 기뻐하며 여호와로 말미암아 마음에 즐거워하리라. [ESV] 1 Ask rain from the Lord in the season of the spring rain, from the Lord who makes the storm clouds, and he will give them showers of rain, to everyone the vegetation in the field. 2 For the household gods utter nonsense, and the diviners see lies; they tell false dreams and give empty consolation. Therefore the people wander like sheep; they are afflicted for lack of a shepherd. 3 “My anger is hot against the shepherds, and I will punish the leaders; for the Lord of hosts cares for his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them like his majestic steed in battle. 4 From him shall come the cornerstone, from him the tent peg, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler—all of them together. 5 They shall be like mighty men in battle, trampling the foe in the mud of the streets; they shall fight because the Lord is with them, and they shall put to shame the riders on horses. 6 “I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back because I have compassion on them, and they shall be as though I had not rejected them, for I am the Lord their God and I will answer them. 7 Then Ephraim shall become like a mighty warrior, and their hearts shall be glad as with wine. Their children shall see it and be glad; their hearts shall rejoice in the Lord.

 

Question: 하나님과 우상은 어떻게 다른가? - How does God differ from idols?

 

INTRODUCTION: [자기 백성들에게 복 주시기를 원하시는 하나님] - God who desires to bless His own people.

시편(Psalms) 65:1-4&9-13, 1.하나님이여 찬송이 시온에서 주를 기다리오며 사람이 서원을 주께 이행하리이다 2.기도를 들으시는 주여 모든 육체가 주께 나아오리이다 3.죄악이 나를 이겼사오니 우리의 허물을 주께서 사하시리이다 4.주께서 택하시고 가까이 오게 하사 주의 뜰에 살게 하신 사람은 복이 있나이다 우리가 주의 집 곧 주의 성전의 아름다움으로 만족하리이다. / 9.땅을 돌보사 물을 대어 심히 윤택하게 하시며 하나님의 강에 물이 가득하게 하시고 이같이 땅을 예비하신 후에 그들에게 곡식을 주시나이다 10.주께서 밭고랑에 물을 넉넉히 대사 그 이랑을 평평하게 하시며 또 단비로 부드럽게 하시고 그 싹에 복을 주시나이다 11.주의 은택으로 한 해를 관 씌우시니 주의 길에는 기름 방울이 떨어지며 12.들의 초장에도 떨어지니 작은 산들이 기쁨으로 띠를 띠었나이다 13.초장은 양 떼로 옷 입었고 골짜기는 곡식으로 덮였으매 그들이 다 즐거이 외치고 또 노래하나이다. 1 Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall vows be performed. 2 O you who hear prayer, to you shall all flesh come. 3 When iniquities prevail against me, you atone for our transgressions. 4 Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple! / 9 You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it. 10 You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth. 11 You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance. 12 The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy, 13 the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy.

이사야(Isaiah) 59:1-2, 1.여호와의 손이 짧아 구원하지 못하심도 아니요 귀가 둔하여 듣지 못하심도 아니라. 2.오직 너희 죄악이 너희와 너희 하나님 사이를 갈라 놓았고 너희 죄가 그의 얼굴을 가리어서 너희에게서 듣지 않으시게 함이니라. 1 Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; 2 but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.

요한복음(John) 10:9-10, 9.내가 문이니 누구든지 나로 말미암아 들어가면 구원을 받고 또는 들어가며 나오며 꼴을 얻으리라 10.도둑이 오는 것은 도둑질하고 죽이고 멸망시키려는 것뿐이요 내가 온 것은 양으로 생명을 얻게 하고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려는 것이라. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

 

MAIN BODY: 봄비가 올 때에 여호와께 비를 구하라.(Ask rain from the Lord in the season of the spring rain.)

1.     구하는 자에 반드시 응답하시고 축복하시는 하나님 - God who answers and blesses those who seek Him.

에스겔(Ezekiel) 34:26-27a, 26.내가 그들에게 복을 내리고 내 산 사방에 복을 내리며 때를 따라 소낙비를 내리되 복된 소낙비를 내리리라 27a.그리한즉 밭에 나무가 열매를 맺으며 땅이 그 소산을 내리니 그들이 그 땅에서 평안할지라. 26 And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing. 27a And the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land.

 

2.     아무리 간절히 구해도 응답하지 않는 우상들 - Idols that remain silent no matter how fervently one prays.

3.     자기 백성을 신실하게 인도하시는 하나님 - God who faithfully guides His people.

CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 우상을 버리고 살아 계셔서 우리의 기도에 응답하시는 하나님만을 의지하며 그분의 은혜를 누리며 살아 가시기 바랍니다. – I pray that you cast away idols and live relying solely upon the living God who answers our prayers so that you may enjoy His grace as you journey through life.
