TEXT PASSAGE: 스가랴(Zechariah) 4:1-14, [개역개정:ESV]
1.내게 말하던 천사가 다시 와서 나를 깨우니 마치 자는 사람이 잠에서 깨어난 것 같더라 2.그가 내게 묻되 네가 무엇을 보느냐 내가 대답하되 내가 보니 순금 등잔대가 있는데 그 위에는 기름 그릇이 있고 또 그 기름 그릇 위에 일곱 등잔이 있으며 그 기름 그릇 위에 있는 등잔을 위해서 일곱 관이 있고 3.그 등잔대 곁에 두 감람나무가 있는데 하나는 그 기름 그릇 오른쪽에 있고 하나는 그 왼쪽에 있나이다 하고 4.내게 말하는 천사에게 물어 이르되 내 주여 이것들이 무엇이니이까 하니 5.내게 말하는 천사가 대답하여 이르되 네가 이것들이 무엇인지 알지 못하느냐 하므로 내가 대답하되 내 주여 내가 알지 못하나이다 하니 6.그가 내게 대답하여 이르되 여호와께서 스룹바벨에게 하신 말씀이 이러하니라 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하시되 이는 힘으로 되지 아니하며 능력으로 되지 아니하고 오직 나의 영으로 되느니라 7.큰 산아 네가 무엇이냐 네가 스룹바벨 앞에서 평지가 되리라 그가 머릿돌을 내놓을 때에 무리가 외치기를 은총, 은총이 그에게 있을지어다 하리라 하셨고 8.여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 이르시되 9.스룹바벨의 손이 이 성전의 기초를 놓았은즉 그의 손이 또한 그 일을 마치리라 하셨나니 만군의 여호와께서 나를 너희에게 보내신 줄을 네가 알리라 하셨느니라 10.작은 일의 날이라고 멸시하는 자가 누구냐 사람들이 스룹바벨의 손에 다림줄이 있음을 보고 기뻐하리라 이 일곱은 온 세상에 두루 다니는 여호와의 눈이라 하니라 11.내가 그에게 물어 이르되 등잔대 좌우의 두 감람나무는 무슨 뜻이니이까 하고 12.다시 그에게 물어 이르되 금 기름을 흘리는 두 금관 옆에 있는 이 감람나무 두 가지는 무슨 뜻이니이까 하니 13.그가 내게 대답하여 이르되 네가 이것이 무엇인지 알지 못하느냐 하는지라 내가 대답하되 내 주여 알지 못하나이다 하니 14.이르되 이는 기름 부음 받은 자 둘이니 온 세상의 주 앞에 서 있는 자니라 하더라. [ESV] 1 And the angel who talked with me came again and woke me, like a man who is awakened out of his sleep. 2 And he said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it, and seven lamps on it, with seven lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it. 3 And there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.” 4 And I said to the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?” 5 Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.” 6 Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. 7 Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. And he shall bring forward the top stone amid shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’” 8 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. 10 For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. “These seven are the eyes of the Lord, which range through the whole earth.” 11 Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?” 12 And a second time I answered and said to him, “What are these two branches of the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil is poured out?” 13 He said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.” 14 Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

이사야(Isaiah) 43:18-19, 18.너희는 이전 일을 기억하지 말며 옛날 일을 생각하지 말라. 19.보라 내가 새 일을 행하리니 이제 나타낼 것이라 너희가 그것을 알지 못하겠느냐 반드시 내가 광야에 길을 사막에 강을 내리니 18 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
MAIN BODY: 오직 나의 영으로(But by My Spirit)
1. 주님이 보여주신 비젼 - The Vision the Lord has shown.

Human maintenance of the lamps was unnecessary since the oil flowed from the trees to the reservoir to the lamps. This important feature of the vision stresses God’s singular provision of the oil (cf. v. 6). In their fullest significance the two olive trees speak of Christ, the LORD’s Priest-King (cp. Ps. 110:4).”
2. 비젼과 말씀따라 성취될 미래 - The Future that shall be fulfilled according to the Vision and the Word.
스가랴(Zechariah) 4:11-14, 11.내가 그에게 물어 이르되 등잔대 좌우의 두 감람나무는 무슨 뜻이니이까 하고 12.다시 그에게 물어 이르되 금 기름을 흘리는 두 금관 옆에 있는 이 감람나무 두 가지는 무슨 뜻이니이까 하니 13.그가 내게 대답하여 이르되 네가 이것이 무엇인지 알지 못하느냐 하는지라 내가 대답하되 내 주여 알지 못하나이다 하니 14.이르되 이는 기름 부음 받은 자 둘이니 온 세상의 주 앞에 서 있는 자니라 하더라. 11 Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?” 12 And a second time I answered and said to him, “What are these two branches of the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil is poured out?” 13 He said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.” 14 Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”
Zerubbabel and Joshua point ultimately to the Messiah who combined the royal and priestly offices and functions in one person, the Branch (3:8; 6:12; Isa. 11:1; Jer. 23:5; cf. Ps. 110; Heb. 7).
3. 주님이 들려주신 말씀 - The Word the Lord has spoken.

1) 오직 나의 영으로 되느니라. - But by my Spirit.

2) 큰 산아! 평지가 되리라. - O great mountain! You shall become a plain.
스가랴(Zechariah) 4:7, 7.큰 산아 네가 무엇이냐 네가 스룹바벨 앞에서 평지가 되리라 그가 머릿돌을 내놓을 때에 무리가 외치기를 은총, 은총이 그에게 있을지어다 하리라 하셨고 7 Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. And he shall bring forward the top stone amid shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”
3) 그의 손이 그 일을 마치리라. - His hands shall complete it.

마태복음(Matthew) 19:25-26, 25.제자들이 듣고 몹시 놀라 이르되 그렇다면 누가 구원을 얻을 수 있으리이까? 26.예수께서 그들을 보시며 이르시되 사람으로는 할 수 없으나 하나님으로서는 다 하실 수 있느니라. 25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” 26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
