[ESV] 18 For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest 19 and the sound of a trumpet and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that no further messages be spoken to them. 20 For they could not endure the order that was given, “If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.” 21 Indeed, so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I tremble with fear.” 22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, 23 and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. 25 See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven. 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, 29 for our God is a consuming fire.

출애굽기(Exodus) 19:9-23, 9.여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 내가 빽빽한 구름 가운데서 네게 임함은 내가 너와 말하는 것을 백성들이 듣게 하며 또한 너를 영영히 믿게 하려 함이니라 모세가 백성의 말을 여호와께 아뢰었으므로 10.여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 백성에게로 가서 오늘과 내일 그들을 성결하게 하며 그들에게 옷을 빨게 하고 11.준비하게 하여 셋째 날을 기다리게 하라 이는 셋째 날에 나 여호와가 온 백성의 목전에서 시내 산에 강림할 것임이니 12.너는 백성을 위하여 주위에 경계를 정하고 이르기를 너희는 삼가 산에 오르거나 그 경계를 침범하지 말지니 산을 침범하는 자는 반드시 죽임을 당할 것이라 13.그런 자에게는 손을 대지 말고 돌로 쳐죽이거나 화살로 쏘아 죽여야 하리니 짐승이나 사람을 막론하고 살아남지 못하리라 하고 나팔을 길게 불거든 산 앞에 이를 것이니라 하라 14.모세가 산에서 내려와 백성에게 이르러 백성을 성결하게 하니 그들이 자기 옷을 빨더라 15.모세가 백성에게 이르되 준비하여 셋째 날을 기다리고 여인을 가까이 하지 말라 하니라 16.셋째 날 아침에 우레와 번개와 빽빽한 구름이 산 위에 있고 나팔 소리가 매우 크게 들리니 진중에 있는 모든 백성이 다 떨더라 17.모세가 하나님을 맞으려고 백성을 거느리고 진에서 나오매 그들이 산 기슭에 서 있는데 18.시내 산에 연기가 자욱하니 여호와께서 불 가운데서 거기 강림하심이라 그 연기가 옹기 가마 연기 같이 떠오르고 온 산이 크게 진동하며 19.나팔 소리가 점점 커질 때에 모세가 말한즉 하나님이 음성으로 대답하시더라 20.여호와께서 시내 산 곧 그 산 꼭대기에 강림하시고 모세를 그리로 부르시니 모세가 올라가매 21.여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 내려가서 백성을 경고하라 백성이 밀고 들어와 나 여호와에게로 와서 보려고 하다가 많이 죽을까 하노라 22.또 여호와에게 가까이 하는 제사장들에게 그 몸을 성결히 하게 하라 나 여호와가 그들을 칠까 하노라 23.모세가 여호와께 아뢰되 주께서 우리에게 명령하여 이르시기를 산 주위에 경계를 세워 산을 거룩하게 하라 하셨사온즉 백성이 시내 산에 오르지 못하리이다. 9 And the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I am coming to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever.” When Moses told the words of the people to the Lord, 10 the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments 11 and be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. 12 And you shall set limits for the people all around, saying, ‘Take care not to go up into the mountain or touch the edge of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall be put to death. 13 No hand shall touch him, but he shall be stoned or shot; whether beast or man, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds a long blast, they shall come up to the mountain.” 14 So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and consecrated the people; and they washed their garments. 15 And he said to the people, “Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman.” 16 On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled. 17 Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they took their stand at the foot of the mountain. 18 Now Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke because the Lord had descended on it in fire. The smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled greatly. 19 And as the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder. 20 The Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up. 21 And the Lord said to Moses, “Go down and warn the people, lest they break through to the Lord to look and many of them perish. 22 Also let the priests who come near to the Lord consecrate themselves, lest the Lord break out against them.” 23 And Moses said to the Lord, “The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for you yourself warned us, saying, ‘Set limits around the mountain and consecrate it.’”

시내산에서 막혀 있었던 하나님께 나아 가는 길을 예수께서 자기 육체를 찢으심으로 열어 놓으셨다. - Jesus opened the way to God, which had been blocked at Mount Sinai, by tearing His own flesh.
MAIN BODY: 우리가 흔들리지 않는 나라를 받았은즉(For receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken)
1. 시내산에서의 옛언약 공동체 - The Old Covenant Community on Mount Sinai.

2. 시온산에서의 새언약 공동체 - The New Covenant Community on Mount Zion.

- Believers have entered the new covenant and the city of God through Christ's atonement and intercession.
3. 흔들리지 않는 하나님 나라 - The Unshakable Kingdom of God.

신명기(Deuteronomy) 4:23-24, 23.너희는 스스로 삼가 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 너희와 세우신 언약을 잊지 말고 네 하나님 여호와께서 금하신 어떤 형상의 우상도 조각하지 말라. 24.네 하나님 여호와는 소멸하는 불이시요 질투하시는 하나님이시니라. 23 Take care, lest you forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which he made with you, and make a carved image, the form of anything that the Lord your God has forbidden you. 24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.
로마서(Romans) 12:1-2, 1.그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제물로 드리라 이는 너희가 드릴 영적 예배니라. 2.너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라. 1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
땅과 하늘을 진동시킬 심판의 날은 반드시 도래한다. 흔들리지 않는 나라를 받은 천국시민으로서 경건함과 두려움으로 하나님을 기쁘게 섬겨야 한다. - The day of judgment that will shake the earth and the heavens will surely come. As citizens of heaven who have received an unshakable kingdom, we must serve God with reverence and awe, pleasing Him.
CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 죄인들을 자기 피로 사신 사랑의 하나님을 기쁨과 감사한 마음으로 섬기시기를 바랍니다. – I pray that you serve with joy and gratitude the loving God who redeemed sinners with His own blood.
