1.내가 또 눈을 들어 본즉 한 사람이 측량줄을 그의 손에 잡았기로 2.네가 어디로 가느냐 물은즉 그가 내게 대답하되 예루살렘을 측량하여 그 너비와 길이를 보고자 하노라 하고 말할 때에 3.내게 말하는 천사가 나가고 다른 천사가 나와서 그를 맞으며 4.이르되 너는 달려가서 그 소년에게 말하여 이르기를 예루살렘은 그 가운데 사람과 가축이 많으므로 성곽 없는 성읍이 될 것이라 하라 5.여호와의 말씀에 내가 불로 둘러싼 성곽이 되며 그 가운데에서 영광이 되리라 6.오호라 너희는 북방 땅에서 도피할지어다 여호와의 말씀이니라 이는 내가 너희를 하늘 사방에 바람 같이 흩어지게 하였음이니라 여호와의 말씀이니라 7.바벨론 성에 거주하는 시온아 이제 너는 피할지니라 8.만군의 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 영광을 위하여 나를 너희를 노략한 여러 나라로 보내셨나니 너희를 범하는 자는 그의 눈동자를 범하는 것이라 9.내가 손을 그들 위에 움직인즉 그들이 자기를 섬기던 자들에게 노략거리가 되리라 하셨나니 너희가 만군의 여호와께서 나를 보내신 줄 알리라 10.여호와의 말씀에 시온의 딸아 노래하고 기뻐하라 이는 내가 와서 네 가운데에 머물 것임이라 11.그 날에 많은 나라가 여호와께 속하여 내 백성이 될 것이요 나는 네 가운데에 머물리라 네가 만군의 여호와께서 나를 네게 보내신 줄 알리라 12.여호와께서 장차 유다를 거룩한 땅에서 자기 소유를 삼으시고 다시 예루살렘을 택하시리니 13.모든 육체가 여호와 앞에서 잠잠할 것은 여호와께서 그의 거룩한 처소에서 일어나심이니라 하라 하더라. [ESV] 1 And I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand! 2 Then I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.” 3 And behold, the angel who talked with me came forward, and another angel came forward to meet him 4 and said to him, “Run, say to that young man, ‘Jerusalem shall be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of people and livestock in it. 5 And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.’” 6 Up! Up! Flee from the land of the north, declares the Lord. For I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, declares the Lord. 7 Up! Escape to Zion, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon. 8 For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye: 9 “Behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they shall become plunder for those who served them. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me. 10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold, I come and I will dwell in your midst, declares the Lord. 11 And many nations shall join themselves to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people. And I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. 12 And the Lord will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.” 13 Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.
Question: 믿는 자들이 두려움 없이 살아갈 수 있는 이유는? - Why can believers live without fear?

마태복음(Matthew) 10:28-31, 28.몸은 죽여도 영혼은 능히 죽이지 못하는 자들을 두려워하지 말고 오직 몸과 영혼을 능히 지옥에 멸하실 수 있는 이를 두려워하라 29.참새 두 마리가 한 앗사리온에 팔리지 않느냐 그러나 너희 아버지께서 허락하지 아니하시면 그 하나도 땅에 떨어지지 아니하리라 30.너희에게는 머리털까지 다 세신 바 되었나니 31.두려워하지 말라 너희는 많은 참새보다 귀하니라. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. 30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

1. 우리를 둘러싼 불 성곽이 되시는 하나님 - God who becomes a wall of fire around us.

2. 우리를 자신의 눈동자 처럼 보호하시는 하나님 - God who protects us like the apple of His eye.

3. 우리와 영원토록 함께 하시는 임마누엘 하나님 - Immanuel God who is with us forever.

출애굽기(Exodus) 19:5-6, 5.세계가 다 내게 속하였나니 너희가 내 말을 잘 듣고 내 언약을 지키면 너희는 모든 민족 중에서 내 소유가 되겠고 6.너희가 내게 대하여 제사장 나라가 되며 거룩한 백성이 되리라 너는 이 말을 이스라엘 자손에게 전할지니라. 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; 6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel.”
베드로전서(1 Peter) 2:9-10, 9.그러나 너희는 택하신 족속이요 왕 같은 제사장들이요 거룩한 나라요 그의 소유가 된 백성이니 이는 너희를 어두운 데서 불러 내어 그의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 이의 아름다운 덕을 선포하게 하려 하심이라 10.너희가 전에는 백성이 아니더니 이제는 하나님의 백성이요 전에는 긍휼을 얻지 못하였더니 이제는 긍휼을 얻은 자니라. 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 우리를 둘러싼 불 성곽이 되시고, 우리를 자신의 눈동자 처럼 보호하시며 우리와 영원토록 함께 하시는 임마누엘 하나님이 계심을 기억하시기 바랍니다. – I pray that you remember that Immanuel God surrounds us like a wall of fire, protects us as the apple of His eye, and remains with us forever.
