TEXT PASSAGE: 스가랴(Zechariah) 9:1-8, [개역개정:ESV]
1.여호와의 말씀이 하드락 땅에 내리며 다메섹에 머물리니 사람들과 이스라엘 모든 지파의 눈이 여호와를 우러러봄이니라 2.그 접경한 하맛에도 임하겠고 두로와 시돈에도 임하리니 그들이 매우 지혜로움이니라 3.두로는 자기를 위하여 요새를 건축하며 은을 티끌 같이, 금을 거리의 진흙 같이 쌓았도다 4.주께서 그를 정복하시며 그의 권세를 바다에 쳐넣으시리니 그가 불에 삼켜질지라 5.아스글론이 보고 무서워하며 가사도 심히 아파할 것이며 에그론은 그 소망이 수치가 되므로 역시 그러하리라 가사에는 임금이 끊어질 것이며 아스글론에는 주민이 없을 것이며 6.아스돗에는 잡족이 거주하리라 내가 블레셋 사람의 교만을 끊고 7.그의 입에서 그의 피를, 그의 잇사이에서 그 가증한 것을 제거하리니 그들도 남아서 우리 하나님께로 돌아와서 유다의 한 지도자 같이 되겠고 에그론은 여부스 사람 같이 되리라 8.내가 내 집을 둘러 진을 쳐서 적군을 막아 거기 왕래하지 못하게 할 것이라 포학한 자가 다시는 그 지경으로 지나가지 못하리니 이는 내가 눈으로 친히 봄이니라. [ESV] 1 The oracle of the word of the Lord is against the land of Hadrach and Damascus is its resting place. For the Lord has an eye on mankind and on all the tribes of Israel, 2 and on Hamath also, which borders on it, Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise. 3 Tyre has built herself a rampart and heaped up silver like dust, and fine gold like the mud of the streets. 4 But behold, the Lord will strip her of her possessions and strike down her power on the sea, and she shall be devoured by fire. 5 Ashkelon shall see it, and be afraid; Gaza too, and shall writhe in anguish; Ekron also, because its hopes are confounded. The king shall perish from Gaza; Ashkelon shall be uninhabited; 6 a mixed people shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of Philistia. 7 I will take away its blood from its mouth, and its abominations from between its teeth; it too shall be a remnant for our God; it shall be like a clan in Judah, and Ekron shall be like the Jebusites. 8 Then I will encamp at my house as a guard, so that none shall march to and fro; no oppressor shall again march over them, for now I see with my own eyes.

1. 이스라엘의 원수들에 대한 심판 - Judgment upon Israel's enemies.

This prophecy was fulfilled with Alexander the Great's invasion in 333 BC. Tyre had withstood a five-year siege by the Assyrians under Shalmaneser V in 722 BC and a 13-year siege by the Babylonians under Nebuchadnezzar in 527 BC. However, in 333 BC, Alexander the Great, during his Egyptian campaign, constructed a causeway from the coast to the island of Tyre. He then invaded Tyre, killing about 10,000 people, taking 30,000 into slavery, and burning the city. Thus, God will surely judge those who rely on human defenses and their own small strength and wealth.
2. 주님께 돌이키는 이방인들의 구원 - Salvation for the Gentiles who turn to the Lord.

누가복음(Luke) 6:17, 17.예수께서 그들과 함께 내려오사 평지에 서시니 그 제자의 많은 무리와 예수의 말씀도 듣고 병 고침을 받으려고 유대 사방과 예루살렘과 두로와 시돈의 해안으로부터 온 많은 백성도 있더라. 17 And he came down with them and stood on a level place, with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon,
블레셋 사람 중에서 우상숭배의 악습을 버리고 회개하는 자는 하나님의 백성이 될 수 있는 은혜를 주실 것이다. 이 예언은 예수 그리스도의 시대에 그대로 성취되었다. - Among the Philistines, those who abandon the evil practice of idol worship and repent will be granted the grace to become God's people. This prophecy was fulfilled exactly in the time of Jesus Christ.
3. 이스라엘에 대한 영원한 구원약속 - The eternal promise of salvation for Israel.
스가랴(Zechariah) 9:8, 8.내가 내 집을 둘러 진을 쳐서 적군을 막아 거기 왕래하지 못하게 할 것이라 포학한 자가 다시는 그 지경으로 지나가지 못하리니 이는 내가 눈으로 친히 봄이니라. 8 Then I will encamp at my house as a guard, so that none shall march to and fro; no oppressor shall again march over them, for now I see with my own eyes.

CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 높아진 마음을 버리고 겸손히 주님의 얼굴을 구하며 살아 가시기 바랍니다. – I pray that you take away your pride so that you may live humbly with seeking the Lord's face.
