1. 하나님의 부르심의 소망 - The Hope of God’s Call

요한복음(John) 17:3, 3.영생은 곧 유일하신 참 하나님과 그가 보내신 자 예수 그리스도를 아는 것이니이다. 3.Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
빌립보서(Philippians) 3:10, 10.내가 그리스도와 그 부활의 권능과 그 고난에 참여함을 알고자 하여 그의 죽으심을 본받아 10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

3-14절와 같이 15-23절도 그리스어 원문에서는 하나의 문장으로 되어 있다. 그 내용은 2장 10절까지 바울이 에베소 교회를 위해드린 기도이다. 하나님께 감사하고, 성령 안에서 기도하고, 예수 그리스도를 송축하는 것이다. 오늘은 18절과 19절 두구절 말씀에 집중해서 상고해 보기를 원합니다. (믿음-하나님과의 수직관계, 사랑-성도와의 수평관계)
하나님을 아는 것은 지식적인 앎이 아니고 경험을 통한 관계적인 앎이다. “하나님을 개인적으로 아는 것이 구원입니다. 그분을 점점 더 깊이 아는 것이 성화입니다. 그분을 온전히 아는 것이 영화입니다.”
To know God personally is Salvation (John 17:3).
To know Him increasingly is Sanctification (Phil 3:10).
To know Him perfectly is Glorification (1 Cor. 13:9-12).
2. 하나님의 기업의 영광 - The Glory of God’s Inheritance
에베소서(Ephesians) 1:18b, 18b.너희 마음의 눈을 밝히사 그의 부르심의 소망이 무엇이며 성도 안에서 그 기업의 영광의 풍성함이 무엇이며 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
시편(Psalms) 119:18, 18.내 눈을 열어서 주의 율법에서 놀라운 것을 보게 하소서. 18.Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.
열왕기하(2 Kings) 6:14-20, 14.왕이 이에 말과 병거와 많은 군사를 보내매 그들이 밤에 가서 그 성읍을 에워쌌더라 15.하나님의 사람의 사환이 일찍이 일어나서 나가보니 군사와 말과 병거가 성읍을 에워쌌는지라 그의 사환이 엘리사에게 말하되 아아, 내 주여 우리가 어찌하리이까 하니 16.대답하되 두려워하지 말라 우리와 함께 한 자가 그들과 함께 한 자보다 많으니라 하고 17.기도하여 이르되 여호와여 원하건대 그의 눈을 열어서 보게 하옵소서 하니 여호와께서 그 청년의 눈을 여시매 그가 보니 불말과 불병거가 산에 가득하여 엘리사를 둘렀더라 18.아람 사람이 엘리사에게 내려오매 엘리사가 여호와께 기도하여 이르되 원하건대 저 무리의 눈을 어둡게 하옵소서 하매 엘리사의 말대로 그들의 눈을 어둡게 하신지라 19.엘리사가 그들에게 이르되 이는 그 길이 아니요 이는 그 성읍도 아니니 나를 따라 오라 내가 너희를 인도하여 너희가 찾는 사람에게로 나아가리라 하고 그들을 인도하여 사마리아에 이르니라 20.사마리아에 들어갈 때에 엘리사가 이르되 여호와여 이 무리의 눈을 열어서 보게 하옵소서 하니 여호와께서 그들의 눈을 여시매 그들이 보니 자기들이 사마리아 가운데에 있더라. 14 So he sent there horses and chariots and a great army, and they came by night and surrounded the city. 15 When the servant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was all around the city. And the servant said, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” 16 He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 18 And when the Syrians came down against him, Elisha prayed to the Lord and said, “Please strike this people with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness in accordance with the prayer of Elisha. 19 And Elisha said to them, “This is not the way, and this is not the city. Follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom you seek.” And he led them to Samaria. 20 As soon as they entered Samaria, Elisha said, “O Lord, open the eyes of these men, that they may see.” So the Lord opened their eyes and they saw, and behold, they were in the midst of Samaria.
3. 하나님의 능력의 위대함 - The Greatness of God’s Power

호세아(Hosea) 6:3&6, 3.그러므로 우리가 여호와를 알자 힘써 여호와를 알자 그의 나타나심은 새벽 빛 같이 어김없나니 비와 같이, 땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이 우리에게 임하시리라 하니라. 6.나는 인애를 원하고 제사를 원하지 아니하며 번제보다 하나님을 아는 것을 원하노라. 3.Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, 6.For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.
하나님을 아는 것은 지식적인 앎이 아니고 경험을 통한 관계적인 앎이다.
- 하나님께서 우리를 부르신 소망을 알라.
- 하나님께서 우리를 빚어가시는 새 사람을 알라.
- 믿는 자들을 위해 역사하시는 하나님의 능력을 알라.
CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 눈을 열어 하나님의 부르심의 소망과 그 기업의 영광의 풍성함과 그의 능력의 지극히 크심을 알기를 간절히 기도드립니다. - I pray that you open your eyes to know the greatness of God's calling, the riches of the glory of his inheritance, and the greatness of his power.
