1. 하나님의 은혜 속에 살라. - Live in the grace of God.

2. 세상과 구별된 삶을 살라. - Live a life separated from the world.

3. 정결한 삶을 살라. - Live a pure life.

출애굽기(Exodus) 19:5-6, 5.세계가 다 내게 속하였나니 너희가 내 말을 잘 듣고 내 언약을 지키면 너희는 모든 민족 중에서 내 소유가 되겠고 6.너희가 내게 대하여 제사장 나라가 되며 거룩한 백성이 되리라 너는 이 말을 이스라엘 자손에게 전할지니라. 5.Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, 6.you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites." 

 

베드로전서(1 Peter) 2:9, 9.그러나 너희는 택하신 족속이요 왕 같은 제사장들이요 거룩한 나라요 그의 소유가 된 백성이니 이는 너희를 어두운 데서 불러 내어 그의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 이의 아름다운 덕을 선포하게 하려 하심이라. 9.But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
