1.이러므로 우리에게 구름 같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 하며 2.믿음의 주요 또 온전하게 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자 그는 그 앞에 있는 기쁨을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셨느니라 3.너희가 피곤하여 낙심하지 않기 위하여 죄인들이 이같이 자기에게 거역한 일을 참으신 이를 생각하라. [NIV] 1.Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2.Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3.Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Rule in the midst of your enemies! 3 Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power, in holy garments; from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth will be yours. 4 The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, “You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” 5 The Lord is at your right hand; he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath. 6 He will execute judgment among the nations, filling them with corpses; he will shatter chiefs over the wide earth. 7 He will drink from the brook by the way; therefore he will lift up his head.
1. 그는 권능의 왕 - He is the King of Power.

예수 그리스도는 권능의 왕, 영원한 제사장, 장차 다시 오실 심판주 하나님이시다. 우리의 시선을 고정해야 할 분이시다. - Jesus Christ is the King of power, the eternal priest, and the Judge who is to come again. He is the one to whom we should fix our eyes.

1. 벗어 버릴 것 - What to reject.
히브리서(Hebrews) 12:1a, 1.이러므로 우리에게 구름 같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 하며 1.Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
믿음은 오래 달리기와 같다. 완주하기 위해 몸을 최대한 가볍게 해야 한다. - Faith is like a long run. You need to keep your body as light as possible to finish.
2. 달리는 법 - How to run.

오래 달기에는 반드시 고통이 따른다. 앞서간 자들과 함께 달리는 자들을 기억하고 앞에 놓인 상급을 바라보고 끝까지 인내 해야 한다. - The long run must be painful. Remember those who have gone before you and those who run with you, look to the prize that lies ahead, and persevere to the end.
3. 바라볼 곳 - Where to look.

훈련된 충성스런 개는 유혹의 고기덩어리 앞에서 주인을 바라본다. 그러나 잡개는 유혹이 있는 곳을 찿아 들어간다. - A trained, loyal dog will look at its master in front of a tempting piece of meat, but a weasel will go where the temptation is.
