[ESV] 1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. 1. 하나님의 말씀을 받아들인다. - Faith accepts God’s Word.

3. 하나님의 능력을 알게된다. - Faith recognizes God’s Power.

요한1서(1 John) 5:4-5, 4.무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라 세상을 이기는 승리는 이것이니 우리의 믿음이니라. 5.예수께서 하나님의 아들이심을 믿는 자가 아니면 세상을 이기는 자가 누구냐? 4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
