1.사람들에게서 난 것도 아니요 사람으로 말미암은 것도 아니요 오직 예수 그리스도와 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 하나님 아버지로 말미암아 사도 된 바울은 2.함께 있는 모든 형제와 더불어 갈라디아 여러 교회들에게 3.우리 하나님 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로부터 은혜와 평강이 있기를 원하노라 4.그리스도께서 하나님 곧 우리 아버지의 뜻을 따라 이 악한 세대에서 우리를 건지시려고 우리 죄를 대속하기 위하여 자기 몸을 주셨으니 5.영광이 그에게 세세토록 있을지어다 아멘. 사도행전(Acts) 15:1-5, 1.어떤 사람들이 유대로부터 내려와서 형제들을 가르치되 너희가 모세의 법대로 할례를 받지 아니하면 능히 구원을 받지 못하리라 하니 2.바울 및 바나바와 그들 사이에 적지 아니한 다툼과 변론이 일어난지라 형제들이 이 문제에 대하여 바울과 바나바와 및 그 중의 몇 사람을 예루살렘에 있는 사도와 장로들에게 보내기로 작정하니라 3.그들이 교회의 전송을 받고 베니게와 사마리아로 다니며 이방인들이 주께 돌아온 일을 말하여 형제들을 다 크게 기쁘게 하더라 4.예루살렘에 이르러 교회와 사도와 장로들에게 영접을 받고 하나님이 자기들과 함께 계셔 행하신 모든 일을 말하매 5.바리새파 중에 어떤 믿는 사람들이 일어나 말하되 이방인에게 할례를 행하고 모세의 율법을 지키라 명하는 것이 마땅하다 하니라. 1.Some men came down from Judea to Antioch and were teaching the brothers: "Unless you are circumcised, according to the custom taught by Moses, you cannot be saved." 2.This brought Paul and Barnabas into sharp dispute and debate with them. So Paul and Barnabas were appointed, along with some other believers, to go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders about this question. 3.The church sent them on their way, and as they traveled through Phoenicia and Samaria, they told how the Gentiles had been converted. This news made all the brothers very glad. 4.When they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and elders, to whom they reported everything God had done through them. 5.Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, "The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses."
