TEXT PASSAGE: 데살로니가후서(2 Thessalonians) 2:13-17, [개역개정:NIV]

13.주께서 사랑하시는 형제들아 우리가 항상 너희에 관하여 마땅히 하나님께 감사할 것은 하나님이 처음부터 너희를 택하사 성령의 거룩하게 하심과 진리를 믿음으로 구원을 받게 하심이니 14.이를 위하여 우리의 복음으로 너희를 부르사 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 영광을 얻게 하려 하심이니라 15.그러므로 형제들아 굳건하게 서서 말로나 우리의 편지로 가르침을 받은 전통을 지키라 16.우리 주 예수 그리스도와 우리를 사랑하시고 영원한 위로와 좋은 소망을 은혜로 주신 하나님 우리 아버지께서 17.너희 마음을 위로하시고 모든 선한 일과 말에 굳건하게 하시기를 원하노라. [NIV] 13.But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 14.He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15.So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter. 16.May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17.encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

Question: 주님의 재림에 관해 우리가 가져야할 내적 자세는? - What inner attitude should we have concerning the coming of the Lord?

OUTLINE: 하나님이 처음부터 너희를 택하사 구원을 받게 하심이니(From the beginning God chose you to be saved.)

1. 하나님의 택하심과 구원하심을 기억하라. - Remember God's selection and salvation.

2. 굳건하게 서서 진리를 붙들라. - Stand firm and hold on to the truth.

3. 모든 선한 일과 말에 굳건하라. - Be firm in every good deed and word.

CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 하나님의 택하심과 구원하심을 기억하고 굳건하게 서서 진리를 붙들고 모든 선한 일과 말에 굳건하시기를 바랍니다. - Lovely brothers and sisters! I pray that you remember God's selection and salvation, stand firm and hold on to the truth so that you may be firm in every good deed and word.

로마서(Romans) 8:29-30, 29.하나님이 미리 아신 자들을 또한 그 아들의 형상을 본받게 하기 위하여 미리 정하셨으니 이는 그로 많은 형제 중에서 맏아들이 되게 하려 하심이니라 30.또 미리 정하신 그들을 또한 부르시고 부르신 그들을 또한 의롭다 하시고 의롭다 하신 그들을 또한 영화롭게 하셨느니라. 29.For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30.And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

베드로전서(1 Peter) 1:2, 2.곧 하나님 아버지의 미리 아심을 따라 성령이 거룩하게 하심으로 순종함과 예수 그리스도의 피 뿌림을 얻기 위하여 택하심을 받은 자들에게 편지하노니 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 더욱 많을지어다. 2.(To God's elect,) who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.
