TEXT PASSAGE: 로마서(Romans) 8:28-30, [개역개정:ESV]

28.우리가 알거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그의 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 합력하여 선을 이루느니라 29.하나님이 미리 아신 자들을 또한 그 아들의 형상을 본받게 하기 위하여 미리 정하셨으니 이는 그로 많은 형제 중에서 맏아들이 되게 하려 하심이니라 30.또 미리 정하신 그들을 또한 부르시고 부르신 그들을 또한 의롭다 하시고 의롭다 하신 그들을 또한 영화롭게 하셨느니라. [ESV] 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

INTRODUCTION: [하나님은 그것을 선으로 바꾸사] - God meant it for good.

창세기(Genesis) 50:19-21, 19.요셉이 그들에게 이르되 두려워하지 마소서 내가 하나님을 대신하리이까 20.당신들은 나를 해하려 하였으나 하나님은 그것을 선으로 바꾸사 오늘과 같이 많은 백성의 생명을 구원하게 하시려 하셨나니 21.당신들은 두려워하지 마소서 내가 당신들과 당신들의 자녀를 기르리이다 하고 그들을 간곡한 말로 위로하였더라. 19 But Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? 20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. 21 So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones.” Thus he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.

예레미야(Jeremiah) 29:11-13, 11.여호와의 말씀이니라 너희를 향한 나의 생각을 내가 아나니 평안이요 재앙이 아니니라 너희에게 미래와 희망을 주는 것이니라 12.너희가 내게 부르짖으며 내게 와서 기도하면 내가 너희들의 기도를 들을 것이요 13.너희가 온 마음으로 나를 구하면 나를 찾을 것이요 나를 만나리라. 11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

사도행전(Acts) 2:23-24, 23.그가 하나님께서 정하신 뜻과 미리 아신 대로 내준 바 되었거늘 너희가 법 없는 자들의 손을 빌려 못 박아 죽였으나 24.하나님께서 그를 사망의 고통에서 풀어 살리셨으니 이는 그가 사망에 매여 있을 수 없었음이라. 23 this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. 24 God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.

 

로마서(Romans) 12:21, 21.악에게 지지 말고 선으로 악을 이기라. 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

 

   구원의 금사슬 - The Golden Chain of Salvation:

예지(Foreknowledge) – 하나님의 경륜 가운데 선택될 자를 미리 아심

예정(Predestination) – 하나님께서 구원받은 자들을 미리 선택하심.

소명(Calling) – 그리스도에 의하여 준비된 구원을 믿으로 받으라고 초청하시는 하나님의 은혜.

칭의(Justification) - 그리스도의 대속의 공로로 의를 전가받아 영생에 참여하게 되는 하나님의 은혜.

영화(Glorification) – 장차 우리의 몸이 부활하여 영광의 몸으로 변화되고, 영원히 하나님과 영적 친교를 나눌 것. 그때 거기에서 그리스도의 형상을 완전히 닮는 것. - To have our bodies resurrected and transformed into glorified bodies, and to have spiritual communion with God forever. To be fully conformed to the image of Christ then and there.

성화(Sanctification) – 지금 여기에서(Now & Here) 그리스도의 형상을 점차 닮아가는 것.  - To be gradually conformed to the image of Christ now & here.

  

CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 고난과 역경을 통해 그리스도의 형상으로 우리를 빚어 가시는 주님의 선하신 손길을 바라 보시기 바랍니다. - I pray that you look to the Lord's faithful hand in molding us into the image of Christ through suffering and adversity.
